Arthur Vitello III was born in 1979 to American parents living in Wurzburg, Germany and was raised in New Haven, Connecticut. His talents were cultivated early on at New Haven’s prestigious Educational Center for the Arts. He received a BFA from Paier College of Art, where he was honored with an award in Outstanding Achievement in painting. Upon graduating, he attended Yale School of Drama where he received his certificate in 2005, and has since been invited back as a lecturer.

Vitello has shown his work at the Westport River Gallery in Westport, CT and has exhibited with New Haven City Wide Open Studios. His quest to add diversity has led him to paint in theaters and opera houses in New York, Washington D.C., Connecticut, Utah and Florida. He has worked as a scenic artist for Disney and the Ringling Bros. Circus, in addition to having studied as a tattoo apprentice. He is also a member of the United Scenic Artists in NYC, where he has worked on Broadway productions, feature films and television.Vitello currently works from his studio as well as resides in Madison, Connecticut with his wife Dr. Vitello and their two sons.
